The Humpty Doo Banded Rainbow & Eucalyptus Lamp

​A powerful story of resilience, local history, and natural artistry, beautifully preserved through functional art. Handcrafted in Darwin, this extraordinary statement lamp features a deeply textured eucalyptus timber base reclaimed from outback Humpty Doo. Salvaged from a massive tree that fell during Cyclone Fina in 2025, this wood was chainsawed to clear blocked community roads and has now been given a beautiful second life. To hold the stunning crystals, the storm-weathered timber was meticulously hand-chiseled to create a seamless, custom-fitted nest that perfectly cradles the rugged base of each stone.

​Arranged in a gorgeous natural gradient, the lamp features raw citrine, honey calcite, a soft block of rose quartz, a spectacular piece of fluorite showcasing distinct, colourful bands of teal, violet, and green, and a deep purple raw amethyst point. When illuminated from within, the light spectacularly accentuates the colourful banded layers of the fluorite, casting a shifting, glowing spectrum that transitions from a warm golden amber to a soft pink, oceanic teal, and mystical purple. It makes an incredible, grounding centerpiece for an earthy aesthetic bedroom, a cozy living room, or an office. Because nature never repeats its designs, this piece is entirely unique; it is an exclusive, one-of-a-kind creation that can never be exactly replicated.
